  • I got this for $90 at Guitar Center brand new. It was originally going to be my practice guitar because I didn’t want to be carrying around my hollowbody.

It’s cheap enough that I don’t feel bad carrying it in my trunk.

My fingers muscle memory got used to the spacing and now she’s a daily driver.

All I did was replace the strings to some Silver wound D’addrio.

My only issues are accessibility to the higher notes on the fretboard and a bit more volume for playing in public places.

  • Hi! Yesterday I bought a Lucero LC150S but the 4th, 5th and 6th strings have a sound like "metallic", I don't know if it is because they are new or if that is the sound of the guitar, it makes it sound very bad when playing

    Please Help Me!

  • I got one for $20.00 at Guitar Center (scratch and dent sale) with no strings and no dents or scratches. I got it home had strung it up and the tuners were all stripped. I got new tuners from Stewmac for $20.00 and fixed it right up. My son and the extended family play it all the time. I adjusted the neck, string height, and polished the fret ends and it plays like a more expensive guitar…

  • Grettings Mr Florentin, just a little correction, the top on this guitar is laminated not solid, you are right about the sound, sometimes sounds like plastic to me, but still a good beginner guitar

  • Nice review of the Lucero entry level guitar. GC does carry a LC100, but without the S designation. It is a laminate top. The current model which would be closest to this one is the LC150S, current listed for $199 US.
