I've been playing and singing blues since 1969. When I get to the turnaround (soloing) I simply land on the 5th or whatever variation signals the turnaround. I am always surprised by what comes out but hitting that chord or note on the beat is my only goal. I come from the Pagey "go crazy and hit the five" school. Also the smooth, clean and devastating B.B. style works for me. If I watch guitar instruction vids my playing gets way screwed up, don't take that personally.
