  • Teacher I don't understand, I'm from Mexico and that kind of guitars are considered a medium and high level o material

I would like to buy a Yamaha F310
But I read many comments that mention that it is for beginners, but here in Mexico they are expensive

I would really appreciate an answer about this, and thank you very much to the person who replies my question ????????????

  • So wich guitar would you suggest for a child (7 years old) beginning to learn? Don't need to be cheap. More important it is of good quality and a child likes using it.

  • I love my FG Yamaha,my L series Yamaha,my Recording king and my Asian made Guild, they ALMOST sound like my Martin, but just a little different ????

  • I have been playing guitar for the past 2 months on an mid body Ovation that is about $150 used. I loved the way it sounded when I got some Martin phosphorus bronze strings as a recommendation from a guitar center representative. I didn't know that my guitar was actually broken until you mentioned action height in this video. The action on my low E is about 5.5 mm and around 4 mm on the high E because of the truss rod being broken. I simply thought all guitars were difficult to play. Long story short, I ended up buying a Composite Acoustics GX a couple days ago. I simply cannot put it away. I spent my day off just messing around without fatigue. I believe learning on a cheap guitar helped me develop discipline, strength, and dexterity to actually appreciate a "premium" guitar.

  • I really wish people would retire the adjective 'cheap'. Inexpensive would be a better description. I may be prejudiced, my classical guitar is also 'cheap' in some peoples' eyes. But it sounds pretty good to me. ????

  • if your guitar is properly tuned ,,the right strings 85% of the people cant tell the difference between a cheap one and a expensive one … its you the player ,, as Ray Charles would say you cannot wipp the instrument you will never get our all out of the instrument !!

  • How the frets – are the string high or low, check things out.any guitar will stay in tune for a time.Even Gibson cheap guitars have very thin sides of just lament.

  • All these cheap guitars in his hands sound much better than my 1000$ Taylor in my hands. Nothing can replace the skill. All Harley benton guitars have amazing quality to value ratio from my experience. Always recommend these to people looking for good instruments in low budget and I'm never disappointed.

  • took me 30 years, but a few weeks ago I finally bought a "real" guitar. Such a massive improvment. Spending $500 on a good used guitar instead on $50 on a used budget guitar. Soo worh is, should have doen it a long time ago!

  • Just bought a guitar for £14, It has no nut so all the strings rest on the first fret, very difficult to tune. And all the little handle thingies to tune have snapped off so I had to buy a pair of pliers to turn them. They cost as much as the guitar????

  • I've played many Fender acoustic guitars and they all sounded like trash. There's something about them, they lack soul.
If you want the best cheap guitar, get an Ovation Applause. Nothing beats the sound of an Ovation.

  • I recently bought a vintage 55-year-old Fender stamped but made by Harmony guitar. I had one years ago but it got broken at a party. I found my current one online and bought it. I was amazed at how cheap it is and recalled how I thought I was living large when I got my first one! It was $27 brand new now it is just a bit of a collector's item. Cheap but perfectly playable even today and made of solid birch.Has that great bluesy sound. Prior to that, I had a really cheap guitar made in Mexico that sold for $5 brand new at the swap meet. More like a decoration than an instrument. After that, I owned better quality guitars but always had to buy used ones at second-hand stores and yard sales. I learned how to do repairs and adjustments flipping cheap (at the time) guitars from Japan. Many are collectibles now too, St George and the like. Eventually, I moved up to better guitars but it was a long journey. Now, when I see the cheap guitars on the market I am floored at how nice they are right out of the box for a lot less comparative dollars. I have a small collection of them myself. Maybe not as sturdy for professional use but light years from my beginners for sure.

  • I have the Yamaha one and I'm happy to hear that it buzzes even in your hands. I think most guitar videos online just setup false expectations on how normal guitars on normal contexts sound.

  • you said they're all cheap and bad. well…. Indonesian Cheap guitars are the worst ever. those guitars even looks expensive. LOL

  • My rule of thumb for cheap guitars: try all the models and check the drawers. Staff knows which ones have good intonation and those are not hanging up. 1 out of 10 cheapies are decent (by accident).

  • I don't think u care how it sounds when you first start to learn to play u just want to learn where the cords are and learn to play them

  • I think its worth budgeting a setup for whatever guitar you choose unless its an extremeley high end Taylor, Martin, GIbson ETC in that case you most likely aren't concerned about setup costs or new to guitar for that matter.

  • Bro as long as it doesn’t have the strings all high and is impossible to play

  • Any guitar with a good setup string height intoneation is just fine for beginners and recreational guitarists. In fact, an expensive guitar is a waste on novice players. 99% won'tt stay with it. Personally, I started playing at age eight on a cheap Mexican made hand me down guitar. The neck was so curved you could if was a pool stick shoot around corners. Saved my money, bought a Stella 12 atring till it was worn beyond usability. 68 years old play every d
ay . My daily player is a 65 dollar black Friday strat copy . New bone nut decent tuners blocked and wedged tightly trem goodsetup. plays like $1500. Yes, I have acquired much better ones. Save them for show and tell hour PS if you give lessons have a low cost one with good string actions avaiable for your secessions. Better for you and the students who has the junker guitar. You and the student will progress Better
