  • I have it and love it, but I sense that sometimes the volume of the instrument affects the voice volume and the voice "disappears" sometimes. Is that expected or is there some adjustment to avoid it? Tks!

  • Thanks for the review and demo. Here are my questions, anybody can kindly hep:

    1. It is battery powered by the recharging the built in battery, you don't put these say AA dry cell batteries???

    2. When the battery dies, the moment you are plugging in you can instantly use the amp right away? Does it recharge at the same time just plugged in and using or you have to let it recharge for use without power first??

    Thanks.

  • have a general question: How does wattage affect volume? I have seen acoustic amps of 180w sold for $800 while one with 55w sold for $2000 ??? The higher the wattage the more the volume? louder? Does other fx determines the price?

  • Thanks for sharing this and all the tips. I love using Loudbox Mini for a small to midsize room jam, and now I feel I can use it more effectively.

  • Please tell us how it is possible that passive Fishman Neo-D Magnetic Soundhole Pickup Single Coil can't be used with this amplifier at all? Feedback is just horrible for any and all gain and volume setting for that particular combination of Fishman amp and fishman pickup.

  • I play both a Gretsch Electromatic and a Gretsch Jumbo electric acoustic, your demo covers the acoustic guitar, but would the Fishman Loudbox Mini serve equally as well for the Electromatic (hollow electric)? Also, can I add a loop recording pedal box to the set-up?

  • Can this amp be heard over an acoustic 5-piece drum kit on stage for practice sessions or will it need to be mic and sent through PA to be heard?

Also does the XLR output include a mix of everything (let's say I have a backing track coming in through the aux input, will that along with my reverb/chorus settings be sent out to the XLR out if I want to run to a PA in club setting?)

  • Very nice. I may go for the Loudbox artist though. Includes a flanger. I compared this Mini to a Roland AC-90 side by side today. While the Roland was nice, the Fishman seemed to have a warmer tone, and represented the actual sound of the instrument a little better. Didn't get the chance to compare the Artist to the Roland but can imagine I would have the same result.
