Toys go winding down next please. Thanks mark! Love the videos and your courses are dynamite man!! I've grown so much
Welcome to this World would be a good song to cover.
????
MIDI ahhh bass sound
A epic Bass riff!
Never in my life would I be able to learn such difficult licks by ear. I tried, but it was simply information overload.
Thank you for breaking those Primus licks down!
I really love letting the g string drone.. really got me into using open string drones in my own playing
What a fantastic lesson, thanks!
Les is a f, n genius
I love how he just like "its normal " les is a god of said bass
DMV by PRIMUS
❤
Fabulous! Thank you.
Is that a Wal bass? This guy is a fantastic bassist.
Thanx ir awesome
I actually learned the main riff pretty quickly thanks to an old video. It's really… Not hard. It's mainly just keeping the plucking hand steady and letting the fretting hand work the magic. It's hard to explain. Playing it cleanly can be difficult though. The minute I stopped overthinking it, it became a bit easier.
More Les Claypool please ????
“MEPHESTO AND KEVIN” please kthxbye
why anybody would "thumbs-down" a free bass lesson is beyond me. THANK YOU SIR!
Thank you
yeah, yeah doing that, yeah, sounds right, okay whys what I'm playing sound absolutely nothing like that at all?
Your videos are amazing and so helpful, Mark! Can you please do a lesson on Primus' "Those Damned Blue Collar Tweakers"? ????
very power
For me, trying to learn this song is like trying to learn a language that no one knows
The Awakening break down next please ????
Not easy on a 6 string bass. Lol
Been playing for years but Les, i do not get his coordination, can you help?
The G-String is my favorite string to play with.
HEYYYYYYYY can you pleaseeeeeeeeeeee do a lesson on welcome to this world by Primus? One of my favorite claypool riffs especially the breakdown
This is like that old show, Magic's Greatest Secrets Revealed.
Les has huge hands
Great bass guitarist, very knowledgeable of Les Claypool's style and techniques…I'll be subscribing to this channel.
Can't play this on a fretless bass
I mean you can but it doesn't sound the same as the frets play a big role in the sound of this riff
ON RECORD NO B NOTE ,, AT LEAST NOT ON START ,,POSIBLE FEW TIME IN SONG BUT I CAN NOT FIND IT //ps why you call b / b flat ,, if you start on free A string it is tone A ,, THAN NEXT FRET IS a i see we say ais you b flat than b ,h an c on dot,, well on recorded album version no low b there //mostly
SURE MORE LESS//
Hi Mark!! Would you consider doing “To defy the laws of tradition” and “the toys go winding down”
I don't understand how you are supposed to mute but simultainiously strum perfectly. How do you get those last 4 G strums muted and not ringing out? Any tips on either of my issues is appreciated!
Well down, thorough and clear. Spot on good sir.
I forgot how to play this after learning it all the way back in 2007 so thankyou for making this video. I'd like a Shake Hands With Beef lesson but that's on a 5 string.
