Getting Metal Tones From the BOSS DS-1!

Howdy! Thanks for watching SlydeBytes! Have you ever played or owned a BOSS DS-1 Distortion pedal? In guitar circles, I’d say the majority of us have. I used the DS-1 as a mainstay for years, and always loved that pedal, even if sometimes I felt the need for more gain. Which is the most common criticism I hear of the pedal, “it needs more gain to get a good chug,” “more tightness for metal.” Well, I have a trick that I feel solves most of all that, and the pedal is right back in my chain because I love it so much. Remember, I’m a NuMetal and Thrash metal kinda guy, and I think you’ll like what you hear today if you like those genres too.
