I love that body, much prettier than my 3 peice body with it's naught hole and non matching lamination. It should have been painted black. But it sounds and plays great!

I really like this bass especially as a entry-level instrument my issue is it being 5 kg ( 11 lbs ) that's heavy

it sounds so good with teh tone rolled off. Kind of like a better P bass to me. I don't really like teh honky sharp sound of a regular jazz bass.
I have one though I wish I had the natural finish instead of the sunburst.

I have the 70s modified Squire j bass . They discontinued it and made this in its place . Great bass . Sounds incredible . I wouldn't change the pickups or anything on it . The only thing I would consider is possibly putting a high mass bridge . Glad you reviewed this BASS !
