Preston Thompson Custom D-MAD-ADI w/ Sepia Burst Acoustic Guitar Review

John & Jeremy Chapman review a new D-MAD-ADI dreadnought acoustic from Preston Thompson Guitars.

Preston Thompson Dreadnought models are all crafted to produce the tone and volume that the dreadnought guitar was originally designed to achieve. These are powerful instruments that, when needed, stand up to the volume of a mandolin, fiddle, and banjo.

  • My guitar. Addy top sinker mahogany back and sides. With the large sound hole. OH hide glue, and all torrified even bracing.

  • Great video guys, those are two sweet sounding instruments. Ive never heard of Thompson
Guitars until Billy Strings appeared on the scene. But I'm sold on them, because they have
such a growl to them, they really stand out. Those algarythems you guys talk about. I got up
this morning, I stubbed my toe on one, Damn it hurt, your right they are everywhere.

  • Think I'd like an 0M-MAD-ADI short scale maybe 12 fret with soft V neck profile. Maybe they make an aged satin finish?

  • Very nice guitar. I had an uncle who built me a copy of a 1935 Martin D 28 40 years ago. I still play it and it has an amazing tone. Brazilian Rosewood, Mahogany neck
with Ebony fingerboard. It has the period inlays with Herringbone binding. It is a wonderful guitar and was and still is my dream guitar.

  • Whoever bought this guitar should make a video post-purchase and let us know what he thinks.

Heh, was that the pitch you have him? You: "Sir, it's an incredible guitar."
    The buyer: "Sold!"
    ????????????????????
