  • I have never understood why waste important real estate with a reverb footswitch. Who, exactly, is switching reverb on and off during a set?

  • I just saw three of these on stage at the Grand Ole Opry, that’s all the proof I need.

  • That’s the Saltmine Recording Studio in Mesa. I recorded there a couple of months ago.

  • So my question is? what's the longevity of a tone master? If I buy a Custom deluxe reverb I have an amp that will last me the rest of my life with easy maintenance and repairs. What happens to this amp in 2-5-10 years? kaput?

  • I'm assuming it's class D right? Power class is important. Does this amp pull the full amount of wattage from the outlet continuously or does it pull a small amount until it gets a signal from a guitar? The reason why this is important is because a class A amplifier will continually pull the full wattage, meaning that the original note struck on the guitar is the one you are hearing through the amplifier. A class D amplifier upon receiving signal from the guitar will pull more wattage and then replicate the note that was played. (much less musical sounding). I would much rather have to replace tubes every few years than buy an entire new amp because the circut board fried out from playing at high volume levels. There is also the issue of even order and odd order harmonics. when the amp is pushed into overdrive does it produce even order harmonics? I believe this amp falls into the wanna be a tube amplifier category.

  • I have the Twin. I played a few of them before buying. I was still skeptical. I watched every video I could find. You don’t know what it’s going to sound like in your environment, when you get to sit down & put in some real quality time with it. I’ve been doing just that. Here’s what I really like, that I didn’t expect. This amp really excels when you push it. Even running it at 1watt, when you get it into the 7-10 range on the volume, you start to feel the swell of the tubes(which aren’t there). There is a really good amount of variance from 7 to 10, as well. At 7 you start getting that Stray Cats kinda vibe. At 10 it’s full on Sex Pistols. Somewhere in between, you might find your sweet spot. I love it, so far. I really do. I’ve heard a lot of complaints about the Vibrato & Reverb. I can understand from a Fender purist point of view but, I was able to dial in what I needed in any situation. In summary, I didn’t expect for the Tone Master to replace my favorite Tube Amp. But, it has far exceeded my expectations. & it is much more versatile. I won’t be selling my tube amp, it certainly has its place. I am however, excited for my future with the Tone Master Twin Reverb.

  • Fender if you read this: why does the amp does not habe a Headphones out? Why is the Reverb over 2 way too much? A head option would be nice.

  • I have a Fender Tone Master Deluxe and a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe with Deluxe extended cab…… I absolutely love my Tone Master. I use a MXR super badass pedal with a MIM strat and I can get all the tones I want. Sounds fantastic! I just need to get a twin one now

  • Imagine a ToneMaster that has the tone and power of a Twin Reverb, the size and weight of a Princeton Reverb, the cab sim tonal accuracy of a UA Dream 65, all along with Bluetooth connection auxiliary in for practice and headphone output. THAT would be an amp for the rest of your life

  • I just bought a Super Reverb. I'll put it through it's paces when it gets here. If it's as close to my old Super like they say, I won't need much else. I love my tubes, but they are hell to move around and then there's the maintenance to consider. I never had much use for amps that modeled all kinds of other amps, nor modeling amps with presets of one's fave players. The idea is to have your sound.

  • Anyone compared one of these to a helix and powercab? I love helix in the headphones, not so much through powercab or other frfr, but mostly switched from tubes because of the volume and recording convenience. Is this much better than a modeler and powercab? Oh yeah, I hate how much fiddling modelers seem to require for me to get good tones. This seems perfect but does it sound much better since it’s much less flexible?

  • How come there isn't a current Twin or Deluxe? They're all reissues. What would a non-reissue 2022 TR or DR be like?

  • I just bought the Twin Reverb Tone Master. All I can say is thank you Fender!! Hope you can create a Tone Master version of your tweed amps.. especially the tweed deluxe!!

  • Well it’s a shame you didn’t take that pride and apply out to my Mustang 2. It failed after three years and cost me $300 to fix. Do I now spend $1k on another Fender solid state product???

  • Make in america USA baby. Thank you from MIAMI. I just have bought one. Today Yeaaaaa

  • It is a bit of a f#@king nightmare to be alive right now but fender amps definitely help!

  • I own the cream Twin. Its great! Its 95% there.. When you lug gear around hotels etc like I do, that 5% isnt a deal breaker for how convenient this is.. Ill still bring my tube amps when jamming w guitar buddies.. but if I did bring the TM it would also hang just fine.. It really does sound and feel like a Twin. Total placebo effect. Plus, now its great for bedroom use as well.

  • I bought a Blonde reverb deluxe tonemaster. It is incredible. The weight is amazing, and the fact it will never have a tube issue is an A+++ in my book. The sound is incredible and the attenuator is a great feature. No more lifting a boat anchor for the sound! This amp is it!

  • How to plug a headphones into this without using a computer ? Using a mixer maybe ?

  • Not worth the cost. If they ever break youre paying out the ass for repairs. Where a tube amp can easily be repaired by most techs cheaply. That's the problem with solid state amps. Be fine for at home and stuff but take it around enough and something might break and leave you SOL.

  • I'm an EE IC circuit designer for 30 years I've had a 70's pro-reverb, bassman and use a blackstar 5HTR which isn't enough for my small club gigging …. I'm done lugging, you guys nailed it! Great job!

  • I just bought a Deluxe 2 hours ago. In the past, all I wanted was good tone. So naturally I avoided modeling amps. But through the years, modeling got better and better. Now, as I got older, and lugging around heavy tube amps is beginning to get more difficult, things I'm looking for in an amp has changed. The two biggest things for me this year is tone and weight. The Tone Master nails it for me. This will be my main gigging amp for the next two years.

  • They could well be a good amp, but a side by side comparison with a few blackface amp would have been the ticket.

  • Why does this video make it appear that the amps are made in the USA but the amps are actually made in China?

  • One thing everyone failed to consider is FIRMWARE UPDATES. They just released a new one that works out kinks everyone suggested after owning them for a year. They removed the virtual “bright cap” from the vibrato channel, making it absolutely perfect for pedals; added more range to the reverb; and even an emulation of a celestian creamback speaker to replace your jensen tone! Who knows whats next!

  • It literally took ENGINEERS to build this machine. Props to Fender. I own one right now and it’s magnificent!! Feedback is amazing, weighs like nothing, don’t need to set the volume at 7 for that organic tube sound! 5/5

  • I Guess in Heaven the angels play with Fender amplifiers! I Love it! Thank you for exist, Fender!

  • I have the TMDR. I find it amazing in how good it feels to play and how good it actually sounds. I often catch myself giving it time to warm up before playing. That may be just out of an engrained habit but it may also be that the amp sounds and feels so good that I forget about the modelling all together. Well done, Fender. These amps are truly something great.
