A review for beginners: Fender Mustang LT25

The Fender Mustang series is one of the most successful series of affordable amps ever. They had some problem with the GTs, but it seems that one of the least expensive ones in the series is as flawless as a practice amp can be… check it out!

  • Tengo este amplificador y no suena así, tiene mucho ruido y poca fuerza, esta claro que este hombre usa pedales para reforzar el sonido, algun booter si no el sinido es muy pobre

  • Looking forward to ordering this amp. Great review- thanks for the extensive tour of tones. Back at the guitar after 40+ years in the wilderness!

  • I love your channel ????thanks! I watch anything you put up too… I have a Mustang 3 and it is durable and sounds fantastic. Thanks for your humor and great knowledge, cheers

  • This is not a beginner amp like everyone says. This is a professional level amp that can be used on stage without a problem, the tones you can get are EXTREMELY versatile, and if you just MIC it up, it really does sound like a dream.

  • I’ve just bought this amp to go with my solid body electric uke (yes, uke!) If it is a “beginner’s amp” (as opposed to say a small practice amp) it really doesn’t come with any instructions aimed at beginners. This has been incredibly helpful. Thank you!

  • I'm just about sold on this amp from your review, have they updated it since you did your review, not that they needed too?

  • Great video! Just bought one of these second hand for a good price, this video explains everything I need to know about it, cheers!

  • Way too much your ego. Get to the point. After telling us it’s a beginner amp the 10th time, it’s enough already! The video should be about the amp……not about you. After about 3 minutes listening to you I switched to someone who can explain the amp. By the way, your T-shirt looks stupid.

  • Beginner amp? LOL As others point out… no. It is a low cost amp with some features. It suits a need and budget, regardless of whether a person is a beginner or not. And if you use it to practice or "warm up for your gig", that certainly would not apply to only "beginners". And you said you brought it to practice in a Hotel… are YOU a beginner? Also thinking you would not have a nice guitar and use this amp is laughable. Pure hogwash. It's a shame to see such gear snob mentality.

  • There are things called practice amps. Most people don't live in places where they can crank an amp without angering the neighbors. Calling this a "beginner amp" doesn't do the practicality of small amps justice.

  • Not a big fan of the constant condescending tone in this review. I'm a beginner sure, but i'm not 12 years old. Disliked and wont be watching future videos.

  • even now 4 years later I still don't believe in "beginner amps" for the price and what mot guitar players do and do not need this is a great bedroom portable practice amp

  • I watch anything you put up as your videos are always informative and very entertaining. I'm a beginner ….ive been one .for over 50 years. A tuner built-in is nice and Bluetooth or any other boutique feature is nice but not required. The amplifiers sound quality is required. However I would prefer a proper amplifier handle instead of a hand hold.

  • As a 30 year old beginner this is a great review and I’ll be getting this one or the one from nux those are my two choices so far

  • I know this is an old video but thank you so much. I was looking for an amp to replace the amp that came with my guitar. I've been stuck on this one or the Champion 20. The thing that sold me is all the effects and having a knob for a mid range only for $30 more. I also want to say thanks for mic-ing it the way you would hear it in the room.

  • so your saying its a decent little practice Amp which you can goof around with when your bored, I am after a practice amp as been out of it for couple of years and I'm tossing up the mustang lt25, lt40, or shell out the extra shekels for a gtx so all I know so far is it will be a mustang something, great review sir

  • So this idiot thinks that Fender is going to "Dumb Down" their I.R.s (Modeling) just so it will be a "Beginner" Amp. No they didn't. They just cornered the market on Affordable amps.

  • I just discovered your channel. What an absolutely excellent review and you have earned a sub.

  • Beginners amp? Where you get that concept from? This amp can be used by a professional musician or a beginner, or whoever. Please do not limit the amp by almost the first words that come from your mouth, with due respect, its a personal thing. Are you promoting more expensive by saying this? Strange?

  • If this video were a drinking challenge, most people would be passed out before 5 minutes were up. Definitely not a beginner's drinking video.

  • Man what a review, It's been years since I've picked up a guitar. Will be buying a beginner guitar that comes with this Amp tomorrow. Can't wait to try it out.. Thanks for walking us through some of the features of this amp you make it sound and look much more than what it is.

  • Hello I bought mine yesterday but when I woke up today I turned on my amp and the screen was white I can’t see the tuner I press a button to see the settings but it won’t work it’s just showing me a white screen what do I do?

  • We would have had this for that price 30 years ago?
    we would've been crazy happy.
I learned all the Hendrix, Floyd, SRV, Wes Montgomery, scales, chords, everything, for hours and hours and days and weeks, and years ..on a 200$ crap (I mean super crap) no name transistor amp. And was just so excited to plug it everyday after school..
Call it a practice amp ? Well we managed to gig with it.. Everything was possible.. because we wanted it so hard.

And today people still find the way to complain on forums and watch youtube for hours ..
But actually don't spend time on their instruments..
And this is true for a lot of things these days..
    Stupid world

  • i completely disagree with what you're talking about with the mustang. who cares if it's for beginners? music is music. you can still make some great music with that amp. it's the passion of the musician regardless of what gear he/she has.

  • Thanks for the great and honest review. I've played on about everything over the last 55 yrs minus Dumbles, but never had a practice amp before. My14 yr old daughter has been taking lessons for about 3 yrs on acoustic and is really pretty good. I'm going to give her a PRS Zach Myers I have and want to get her a small practice amp she can take between her mom's house and her dad's house. I have been researching online for small practice amps and had it down to the LT25 or the Positive Grid Spark. After watching your video, I think the LT25 is the better deal. Not as many bells and whistles, but for a 14 yr old , you can plug and play, learn about the effects and amp types without going down the programming rabbit hole. Plus, it's $100 cheaper and a Fender. Keep up the great videos. Been watching them for years. Thanks.
