  • So when you play on stage I guess you plug this thing into the board somehow…. but how do you get feedback ? where do you hold the guitar if you're plugged into a computer to get feedback? I don't know if the lead singer would want it coming through the monitors

  • Beginning of walk all over you is literally my favorite acdc tone as well. I've also spent a lot of time obsessing over Guitar Rig. It's like you made this video for me. Have you tried to use the Orange amplifiers in there? I've gotten really close with those instead of the Jump.

  • Try Bias Amp 2. It allows you to configure the hardware inside of the amps. Angus is using 1987 reissues that are converted to be like a 1967 Marshall Black Flag. The specs he uses are EL34 power tubes, Shared Cathode, JTM tone stack and a Solid State rectifier instead of a GZ34 tube. This is combined with over biasing the amps to make the sound hotter. Most people don't do this because it blows up the tubes pretty fast. There is a bias adjust knob in the power amp settings. Turn that up. You also need humbuckers with a DC resistance of around 7.6 so a relatively not hot sound. That's how you get those high churps is from the pickups. If they're too hot and muddy you won't get the high churps.

  • I'm using a brand new 2020 MacBook Pro with the latest OS version (Catalina) and I cannot figure out how to hear the processed sound out of Guitar Rig 5! On the other hand I can hear the sound if I use Amplitube. I'm worried that GR5 and Catalina are not compatible…which OS are you using on your MacBook?

  • Would love to see a "old modern" country guitar tone. Aka the likes the of kenny chesney, or jason aldean!

  • Great vid. There is a really good rig rundown (or offbrand) video with Angus's tech guy. Dude blows tubes every gig
