Of course its hard to tell on a video, but to my ear this guitar doesn't stand up as a flatpicker's guitar. It sounds pretty good while playing chords or playing DADGAD, but for flatpicking it doesn't sound good. The high end and low end sound thin when he hits those notes. I may think differently in person, but I doubt it. There are many other choices for flatpickers. Martin, Collings, SCGC, and many others would be better choices and you won't see pro flatpickers playing this guitar .
I thought instead of a truss rod it had a graphite inlay — not carbon fiber…
@ippusor this more than you'd ever like to have for 5k bucks
He looks just like Norm McDonald hahahahaha
at this price competition is fierce ! You can get Kevin Ryan , lakewood , collings custom made for you
yep definitely like a taylor
For me Taylor sound better than Martin so I know what you mean
Diddo vintage martin, then Dan Lashbrook it!
If I would pay over 5000 bucks for an acoustic guitar I would never buy a mass-produced guitar such as this one. I would go to a luthier and let him/her build exactly what I would like to have.
i agree
martins are only good if you like things with a lot of bass
if you like lots of bass- Martin
mid range- gibsons
treble- taylor
… this sounds a lot like a taylor to my ears
