Acoustic Guitar Strumming Tricks – (Matt McCoy)
check out this video for tips on how to make your strumming sound different. Many beginners will write me saying all their songs sound the same and they often use one strum pattern for every song. Here are some quick samples of different ways you can strum using the same song.

0:47 Reminds me of my first original "Jesus Go Find This Pagan Some Pepcid". Standard 4/4 timing with the same repeating down strum and alternating base note. Good video, keep it up. 😉

Cool tips thanks!, i am still in the beginner process , just learned a few songs and the basic chords, a thing i noticed is that i play very loud with a pleck, i tried diffrent ones, but its not really working. Is somthing with the strumming techniqeu i am missing? Thanks !

Awesome tips Matt, I have been playing since 05 mostly metal on my electric but recently trying some acoustic(wasn't very good at strumming, but I can shred solos crazy huh) any way you have great advice thx much.

hey Andres..it is a GS Mini..it does have quite a loud sound for it's size for sure. You can get a pick up installed for 100 bucks as well that they say is really good. good luck!
