Acoustic Electric Guitar: a guitar with a built-in microphone
But if you want a more professional sound, it's better to buy a good microphone
Does the acoustic electric sound like a normal acoustic guitar if it’s not plugged in?
Zager EZ-play guitars, what's the price difference.
could you play rock and stuff on the acoustic/electric just like a full electric guitar?
I love how he pauses as soon as Dad talks . You must have so much respect for his knowledge
I got my acustitic from amazon for 75bucks. But since i
saw this built in tuner i might order the one on here.
I ordered a ZAD900CE before Christmas. I am looking forward to March so I can do My unboxing of my Dream Guitar. I know it will be worth the wait.
Glad I found your video clip as I'm thinking about buying an Electro Acoustic Guitar. A very informative video although I'm watching it 8 years after it was recorded. Thank you.
thanks for the thorough explanation!

If you’re living with other people in the house, the electric is a life saver since you can play it anytime you want, while other people are studying, sleeping etc. in the room next door. Also, you need many repetitions to play a piece well, and I think other people shouldn’t be subjected to 200 repetitions of your poorly played piece ???? electric all the way, and with recent developments in technology, that includes the pianos as well ???????? (I’m a pianist)
When the acoustic-electric isn’t connected is it still loud and normal just like an acoustic but then you plug it, it sounds like electric?
Can you connect it to an audio interfaced
I mean, in the end isnt one of each ideal.
It's funny that people who have played for 40 years can't tell they're out of tune. I've played less than a year and I'm in no way what I'd describe as good. To a non guitar player I can make it seem like I know what I'm doing but a pro would spot me immediately. I can't play even a partial barre chord BUT I can tell if my guitar is even slightly out. I can't tune it by ear and once couldn't find my tuner (still haven't actually, I just ordered a new one) and had to get my tutor to drive over and tune it for me. He said it was only out by a bit, and I must have a naturally good ear. It didn't sound a little bit out to me, it sounded awful, I couldn't play it like that. I honestly don't know how anyone could play for that long and NOT develop an ear for it. Unless you taught yourself to play, on an out of tune guitar, never let anyone else play it or hear you play it, never played anyone else's guitar that WAS in tune. That's the only way I can think it'd be possible, songs would just sound wrong. I'm gonna learn to tune it by ear though so I don't have to worry about losing my tuner or the battery going dead etc. So my ears are THAT good yet really
Thank you! God bless you
Can you play a electric acoustic guitar without the amp
I don’t kn how ppl can play guitar that ain’t tuned. I’ve been playing for a yeah and I got a acoustic and electric. But I’m looking into buying a C/E. But fr tho I tune my guitar like everyday
So concluzion–it s much beter to have elctro-aucustic!!!
Epic thx. Jesus loves you btw
Wholesome dad
It wasn't until watching this video and a few others like it that I realized that my acoustic is an acoustic electric lol. I figured it was just a modified acoustic guitar when I saw the amp and tuner
Can you play an acoustic electric as a regular acoustic guitar?
I would love to have one
What's the price. Am in Ghana by the way????
So does it play just like a full acoustic when it's not plugged in? What if all I can find right now is a electro acoustic but you don't want to use the electric part is that possible?
The volume goes up to 25…. right ?
When you say “plug in” do you mean like an amp? I have a regular acoustic, but I’m interested in playing at my church and I think an amp will help my guitar to not be drowned out. So would I need an electric for that?
God tried to turn us from our sins through many rules but it didn't help so he became a man lived a sinless life like a 'game programmer' enter his own powerful avatar to overcome all the bugs and to save the other avatars in the simulation(or exam for good place) by sacrificing his own avatar to help the other avatars to make through the exam, anyone can posses that power when he/she have fAith in Jesus
HE'S coming SOON
01:14 the guitar on the couch triggers me….
Thank youu
The Acoustic Electric Guitar feels much like a Solid Body Electric because the Strings are thinner, the neck is skinnier, and the body is smaller.
Lots of people would actually turn their Acoustic into an Acoustic-Electric by adding a piezo pickup to it.
The built in tuner is also great especially for the 12 String Guitar because with that many Strings, the built in tuner will help with tuning it up.
The Acoustic-Electric might be easier to play than a Standard Acoustic Guitar (in fact it's just as easy to play as an Electric Guitar with easier action & lighter strings) because they usually use Extra Light Gauge Strings/10s (or even lighter like 9s/Ultra Lights) to emulate kinda an Electric Guitar type feel which relieves alot of pressure off the fretting hand.

Acoustic-Electric Guitars are known for that Woodiness Mixed in w/ the FX which is what makes them different in sound from a Standard Electric Guitar:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmAzPduN1is
