Great Rocco feel
Anyone else on a Rocco memorial tour through Youtube? May he rest in peace. 🙁
RIP Rocco
He just died today rip
R.I.P. Rocco!
A Year Too Late, But Stumbled Upon Because Of Rocco Prestia…R.I.P. ROCCO!!! ????
P.S. I Didn't Know Nathan Could Play 6 String Guitar!!!
SHITE!!!! ???????????? He Sounded Awesome!!! ????????
Rip Rocco
I knew a guy that was a vocalist in the Navy and he told me that the TOP drummer was in too, 68-69.
There are some great lady base players Like Suzi Quatro.

Was lucky that they used to play our local fair in Merced Ca. For many years!
Rocco is my favorite bassist since I started when I was 13 and I'm 30 now. He can get it more than done with a 4-string.
I would love to see a sound like jack pastorius video.
Diggin up James Brown as we always called it.
Do one for Nolly Getgood obviously minus the mad expensive Dingwall ????
SOUND LIKE BARONESS
Thanks for the tip guys! It really works great for this style of music.
Could you guys please do Cage the Elephant, would be so sick!
Never miss an episode. Love to see some detailed bass tutorials.
I love these sound like-videos! Can't you do some more modern players also, not just guys from the 60s/70s? The Metallica one was great! How about Flea? Chris Wolstenholme? Les Claypool? Sting? Or one of the modern metal guys like Adam Nolly Getgood?
Sound like buclethead
Any chance of getting a sound like Kenny Wayne Shepherd?
Dean makes (or used to make) a P bass exactly like that Fender that will play as well or better than it called a Paramount. You can still find them for around $250.
Oh, and I just love the constant 16th-note beat going almost throughout the intro song.
Sound like / all about the bass version? SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY! SOUND LIKE FLEA!
Oh man, those bands from the golden 70's era, Chicago, Blood Sweat and Tears, Earth Wind & Fire, Tower of Power. Great stuff. And the technique breakdown is highly appreciated. Please keep it coming. Maybe Jack Bruce the next episode? That would be creamy.
Thanks for shining some light on the great Rocco Prestia. If you're going to do highlights of other players maybe you could consider Bobby Vega another great Bay Area bass player who just happened to fill in for RP at one time. FYI Lee – you'll have to get your pickin' down. And then there's Larry Graham & Louis Johnson also Bay Area players if I'm not mistaken. Cheers!
Damn Lee great job! What a groove!
AATB has the best jams on Andertons channels.
Sound Like™ Eugene Abdiukhanov of Jinjer for some 5-string multiscale drop-A goodness, anyone?!
Didn't think so. But worth a try! 🙂
So Flea is next? Hoping for a sounds like Mark King ????
Sound like Level 42 ????
Good stuff, but Lee needs to drink less coffee or Red Bull – he's wired and talking so fast it's hard to understand for a pair of Aussie ears that are much more used to the Aussie drawl.
Dat base!!!
The Pee Bass has a built in urinal so you can drink beer on stage.
The Bay Area had so much more than Dead and Airplane.
Wow, guys… what an opening! Absolutely GROOVING! Well done!
More of this! You must do Bernard Edwards!
????????????
Fingers are burning…Sounds like Steve Harris next, demo with Phantom of the Opera? xD
One of the best you guys have done. Great job both of you! I've seen TOP twice and they WILL make a white man dance…
Sound like cake
What foot switch/pedal do you use to turn the backing track.off?
Ryan Martinie would be nice even tho he has a very complicated style and simple rig
"I can take about an hour on the tower of power, as long as I gets a little golden shower" – Frank Zappa
That intro jam was mint. I'd love to hear you play some Ian Dury and the Blockheads. Speaking of which… Norman Watt-Roy. Most under-rated bass-player ever?
