What is tha Hollowbody bass
Peavey t-40..very jealous
I've had the Kat 100 MKII, Artist and now the Kat 100 Head. Now time to get the Kat bass amp! Great review.
Just bought one yesterday. Really digging it. Btw what effects were used at the 7:22 mark? Wow. I want that effect. Thanks for the great video ????
Just ordered the 160 watt 210 today! Played the 110 at my local music shop and was blown away! I don’t really dig class D amps, I’ve been an “only tubes” guy for a while now, but I didn’t feel as though this amp sacrificed sound quality at all. It is a class AB though, and it makes all the difference in the world apparently.
I was really wanting the newish Fender Adam Clayton fully tube 50 watt combo amp, but after playing these two side by side today I honestly felt like the Boss sounded much better. Crazy I’m saying it, but it is what it is. I immediately came home and ordered the 210! Can’t wait to share more about it!
Peace to all my fellow low end connoisseurs ❤
Got that 210
Wondering how he managed to pick up that heavy Peavy bass without breaking his back
Hi!great sound!Which mic do you use on the katana in order to record ?
Would’ve liked commentary on how the Class AB power stacks up against Class D. Regarding the “only 60W” comment, the KTN110B is at least as loud as the 100W Class D competitors without sacrificing tone when cranked up.
I'd like to get this for a justin chancellor tone. Oh and how well does this model darkglass tones
way too complicated – and still no tuner!
Wish they still made those peavey T-40 basses
Best in-depth review I've seen on YouTube.
As far as can see there are no specific actual amp models. Ampeg?, Vox ? Marshall? Fender? Etc
This is awesome. I've been bi-amping through a Fender LT25 and Hartke HD75. I'm definitely getting one of these.
Too much options. It looks versatile, i get it, but THREE PRESETS for every knob is too much…
I recently bought the Katana Bass 110 after comparing it with the Fender Rumble Studio 40. I've played it on a couple of gigs in smaller venues, one being a marquee; both times not using the D.I. It could've had a little more headroom but I found at the end of the day, the A-B amp tech and speaker design, meant that the quality of the various tones I demanded, didn't suffer. With my regular bands, I would D.I. and therefore, got this amp to use as a monitor (with the added bonus of having all its bells and whistles). I use I.E.M.s but still like to feel some 'air' move. It's also so easy to move from one soundscape to another at the drop of a hat. I would be interested to try out the 100 watt 2×10 combo but that defeats my purpose of getting a small, highly-portable powerhouse that I can take to the studio, work at home with and go on the road with. So far, this is the best piece of kit I've bought in a while. As for the tuner, there's a tiny D'Addario one on the back of my headstock. Thanks for your review, Patrick!
Damn, that is a huge feature package!????
If they'd put it out as a standalone head, this would basically be an absolute nobrainer for me
Could have been great but there should have been a 100 watt version and there are features here that have been done better years ago.
The Fender Mustang V1 and V2 amps were light years ahead of this and that was over 10 years ago.
Props to the use of a Peavey Fury!
