  • I'd like to learn how to put these chords together, finding little fills in-between chords sort of building your own song out of it. Mostly to get my drummer and guitarist into grooving with me, helps tighten us up.

  • Believe it or not this is still just like a 4-5-1. The C/D can also be thought of as A minor, and A minor is the same chord as F major.

    So this chord progression becomes a 4-5-1 with a tritone substitution: A major – F major – E major. Still sounds great!

  • basically it's just going from IV – IV minor – I…..which is very much used, however i'm not to keen on the D in the bass on the second chord. It just doesn't lead up to the I for me. What kinda of music did you listen to where that happens? cause i haven't heard that combination before.
