Hi Everyone,
Welcome to the 17th episode of Pete reacting to Brazilian guitarists!
As some of you know, Vinnie is Brazilian and Pete is from the States. So we thought it would be cool if Pete reacted to some of Vinnie’s favourite homeland guitar heroes.
In this episode we have the amazing Nelson Faria, who’s one of Brazil’s main Jazz and session players. Nelson has profound knowledge of harmony an is an exceptional improviser. On this video we react to a very special moment between Nelson and the legend Hermeto Pascoal improvise a 12m very moving piece of music. We were especially impressed with now Nelson was able to beautifully flow with Hermeto whilst always being meaningful with his phrasing.

Nelson zfaria has written some excellent guitar instruction books. Hopefully, someone gets further into his excellent manner of teaching and benefits thusly.

Holy cow Vinnie is always so beautiful and I have the feeling he even isn´t "really" aware of that (which is a good thing).

Hermeto tocou com Miles Davis. Em Junho de 1970, Davis e Pascoal gravaram as músicas "Igrejinha", traduzida para "Little Church", "Selim" e "Nem Um Talvez". Todas elas entraram no disco "Live-Evil", de 1971.
