Sounds like you need to humidify your guitars a bit in the winter. Maybe try putting something in the case for humudity like a little sponge in a plastic bag with holes in it or something.
Nice video. I personally prefer after a week or two once the strings are "broken in", because at the beginning they have a more metalic tone, and after a little while they have a more woody or dark tone. Also normally I use phosphor bronze, and for me they have a bit more of a mellow tone. 80/20 bronze is a lot brighter when new. Strings can make a big difference in tone so maybe try some different strings.
I have a crazy idea..how about playing the guitar?
Hi there Nate! Good to see you.

A high rated review here…..You re so right !!! Sustainable wood,95% canadian wood…Robert Godin is a guitar visionary !!! I m getting one ASAP !
Great video! I just bought the same guitar, in the same colour 🙂 You mention it's a spruce top though, but the Art & Lutherie website says that this model has a cedar top. A lot of the internet reviews and videos also claim spruce top, so I emailed Godin about it… Apparently they were spruce, but more recently (not sure when exactly) changed to cedar. Yours could very well be cedar too!
