Hi Warren, you know the sound of the bass on the Beatles' White Album? There's a high end sizzle, that always made me think of it as 'overcooked.' Dear Prudence, Yer Blues, Helter Skelter are the most obvious examples (Giles toned that sizzle down in the remixes. This technique reminds me a bit of that sound. Would you know how that was done? Cheers!
Beautiful! Is the EQ before the Sansamp?
Why does this DAW look like a dentist offices bookkeeping software
nice! sort of makes the bass more like an extension of the guitar.
Oh ya!
That is bad ass! I can’t wait to try that!
????????????
Why duplicate? And not just send to two different parallel tracks?
brilliant , im going try this in the morning on a track
Spilled gold????
Why can’t you just use a single bass channel and have a saturation plugin (decapitator) filtered to not mess with frequencies below 200 Hz?

Keep the secret sauce coming baby !!!!!!!????
so is there a total of 3 bass tracks? a low end, a high w/distortion and a clean?
the old 'Dr. Who' bassline !
Neat trick, will have to try. Usually I just double the bass then put a low pass filter on the double, panned the other direction.
What is your favorite song for reference to the bass?
