  • thank you! just the info I'm looking for. leaning heavily towards the Mono dual bass bag.

I really like that the Gator has a rain cover (I ride a motorcycle) but the way you described the backpack straps as sitting up high is not a feature I'm looking for. Need to keep that sail low for highway commuting!

  • My favorite gig bag ever is the thomann , Harley Benton ebass
It's only $35 but the shipping to states now is astronomical!
I got it around 2020-2021 with an HB bass , for the price, $35 even now 2024 , it blows away any bag in $100 – $150 price range

  • Nice run down. All good points.
Impossible here in Australia to get a decent SS Bass gig bag (or hard case) that fits the G2220. Very disappointing.

  • Hi Jonathan, I have a Sire U5 fretless on order, should be delivered in Aug or Sept. Would you recommend Sire's bag or do you have another suggestion?
Thank you. Really enjoy your channel.

  • I don't have a Reunion Blues bag for bass (yet), but the guitar case I have from them (Continental Voyager line) is the nicest gig bag I have.

  • Great stuff! I had the Gator GoPro and it was very nice and checked all the boxes but the inadequate and uncomfortable backpack system killed it for me(also size and weight). I only have standard scale instruments so a removable neck cradle is not a deal breaker. However, I do require a handle on the front of the bag and a comfortable/balanced backpack system. Also, on the bottom of the bag there should be some rubber or other footing to raise the bag off the ground away from water as well as protecting the bottom portion of the bag.

  • Have you checked out the short scale gig bag from Serek? I have one for my JMJ Mustang and it fits great. The price isn’t too bad either.
