  • I demoed this today to pair with my MB 110 and it farted out at a barely low volume with the same amp head. I played a 4 string MIA fender Jazz through this and I honestly did not like it as much. Perhaps it was just a bad day for the setup but it's a no for me.

  • So here's my situation: I play at small venues with a grunge-rock-blues band. 99% of the time we just go to the PA System (my amp head has a xlr output for PA). So this cab would be mainly used for stage monitor, band rehearsal, and low volume playing at my place. Can this cab work for my situation? My amp head is a TC Electronics BQ500 by the way. But say for example we dont have a PA system to go to, can this speaker by itself handle a grunge song (like Alice in Chains)? If not, could you point me to a good cab?

  • I think ampeg makes the best combo amps but when it comes to the rigs then hartke all they way. I want the HA 3500 with the 2 15 aluminun cabinet XL

  • Have this cab for home practice and small gigs (bar size – medium size venues) with my Ampeg svt 3 pro ( have the 610 hlf svt cab for the big gigs). Perfect piece of gear!

  • How do they change the impedance of the speaker? Never saw a speaker that can allow this?
