  • May 2024. Still waiting for this song to be released. I love Ben for being true to the music he wants to release, but the world would be a better place If I could hear a finished version of this lol.

  • Since Ben isn’t going to give it to us, I wish someone could tab it out for us others to play on guitar

  • I learned. . . More like, am learning because, I am learning new stuff constantly, to play guitar as an adult. Ben's music is some of the most fun to learn and enjoyable to play. Some of his chords can be a stretch for me.
I live in Alaska and drag my poor raggedy guitar everywhere. There is something life affirming about standing on a dock and playing Old Pine as the sun breaks the horizon.
I don't know why the vibration of his songs travel through my body mind and soul differently than other musicians. It fits me like a pair of great jeans.

  • How talented do you need to be?? To be saying "This is just something I was f**king around with yesterday" and the `fuckery` is a masterpiece itself with such a dominant sound that would blow everyones mind off at the campfire.

This is truely one of the best artists this generation have ever seen (if not the best)!

  • You, karine polwart, Dougie Maclean, Runrig, and of monsters and men are who’ve inspired me to relearn guitar after a head injury during a seizure. Thank you for sharing your music with the world.

  • Yo, this is the draft for "End of the Affair". Listen to the second part of the song, the pickings are resemblance of this piece, but the delays made it hard to spot. Check out the acoustic cover of the song, u'll see what I mean.

  • are there any tutorials for this? I come back to this like every 4-5 months for years and years and still hope we get a full release one day, but I doubt he recorded it and is in a completely different direction now!

  • Lyrics:

    Show me darkness.
    Show me restlessness.
    Show me all good inside.
Show me the best of you.
Show me where you put (pour) your love in.
Show me where you pour it out.
Show me how you got me down on my knees.
    (Now lift?) me up

    This is my best attempt.

  • This isn’t actually that hard to play by the way guys! Bantham Legend did a tutorial (I felt he complicates it more than what it actually is in some aspects even) but the pick and go is essentially just keeping a beat with a strum. Bass – 2 – strum, bass – 2 strum (say it to the rhythm of this song)

  • When most people play the guitar it sounds great, great piece of music. But when this guy plays, it's like the guitar sings. It has its own way.
