  • Hi Paul, does this switcher also work for solid state – and digital amps?
Thanks in advance for your reply!

  • I use the Kahayan amp switcher for many years and it’s a must have if you’re a amp/spr enthusiast, the ox is in the send/return of the switcher , the cabs are in the speaker outputs of the switcher , perfect system , no buzz, hiss or hum

  • Does this thing automatically adjust ohms?
For example what would happen if you accidentally flipped the wrong combination of switches and had an ohm mismatch… or no load at all ?

  • I bought one of these several years ago and absolutely LOVE it! I was getting so frustrated having to rewire things every time I wanted to try a different amp in my studio. Now I can flick a switch and audition amps and cabs until find the tone I am looking for. I have mine set up with an AC15, a 1967 Deluxe Reverb and a 1976 JMP 2203, all running though an OX as well as three cabs (including the combo speakers) so I can just jam in my small studio at a reasonable volume.
I bought a 4×4, but I am kinda wishing I had bought the 8×4… maybe one day I will upgrade. 🙂

  • Great video. Could you please tell me the model of your telecaster's pickups?

  • Their FX line is the one that I like, because it allows you to have a master effects loop for every amp connected to the switcher, and also has a universal loop for attenuator, so you can have one attenuator applied to all amps and cabs. Genius!

  • Very interesting! I also have multiple heads and a torpedo studio so this could be a great solution for my home studio…just curious, how do you connect the torpedo studio to your interface? analog or digital?

  • Hey Paul, just wondering is it able to switch from your amp, though the OX box then into the speaker cab for attenuation? Guessin your ox box & 2 note are setup to go to the pc.Would be cool if you could use one attenuator for multiple heads.

  • This is exactly what I've been looking for, wanting to run three heads through one cab.

  • Great video! I love watching a great player, playing through great gear! Well done…

  • I’ve done that Paul. I forgot to plug in the amp into a cab, several times. Luckily, nothing happened but one day I won’t be so lucky.

  • Trick is to get two, one for your clean (wet effects) channel and one for your OD channel. Put all your clean amps on the clean KHE, and all your OD amps on the OD KHE. That way you could run them in dual mono and keep on rocking in the free world.
