In today’s video we’ll go over how the Otto Audio 11 11 11 11 can bring your guitars to the front of the mix and make your guitar tones finally sound GOOD. • I'm glad you explained the knobs and what they do lol. Few years back I came from tube amps switching to amp sims and amp modelers and I was so lost.

  • If one day they remake it by including effects (od, drt, ch, rev,dl) then it will be instant buy, but for a standalone use without having to open the daw, there are too much missing stuff.

  • Wait, hold the presses , I thought I was the only other metal dude on the planet using Ableton Live. Been on the Ottto II II II II for a while now.

  • Thank you so much!!
I just got the same guitar and amp sim.
I paused the video at the end and now I'm using the same preset. This amp sim is by far the best I've tried with the bass vi (i've tried 4 other ones).
You are a god send ????????

  • I tested this and had to delete it since it use another program called iLok which you need in order to use otto audio. iLok system reguires time to time updating and this disables any softwares that uses it. I have other software that uses iLok and because the iLok system is so shit I don't even use the one I own. I don't recommend any software that uses iLok since it's so shit system.

  • This is an amazing amp sim, thank you for sharing, the bass vi sounds brutal and love the way my other guitars sounds through it too. Agreed it’s the heaviest amp sim out there. The Bass VI has been a challenge. I’ve been struggling to make it sound crisp, thick, and heavy and your videos on it + the Otto Audio recommendation got me dialed in. Thank you for the library of content you’ve made man. Will stayed tuned for what you come up with next ????

  • BRUTAL! Right up my alley. I'm definitely going to give the trial a try. So glad I stumbled upon this product today. I'm currently using AmpHup and a couple Neural DSP standalone plugins, but neither of those brands have anything like this! This gets the dark creative juices rumbling. Can it be used as a standalone and adding virtual stompbox effects?

  • Hello, thank you for discovering this amp and the promo code, it's exactly the kind of sound I've been looking for for months

  • No offense, and I don't mean to disrespect anyone, but if you want your mix to sound like absolute garbage, try this amp. There are better amp sims out there

  • Cant get this amp sim to work. at all. Everything else works fine with my Steinberg ASIO device drivers, but this does not

  • ive been using the otto aftter seeing this for a couple months now. have you tried the vildhjarta amp sim from the softube metal suite? its absolutely brutal on low tunings as well

  • Love this amp. Don't get me wrong. It's good to have tones ready to go in one place… BUT you can get these tones with the amp sims you already have.
Make 4 tracks in your daw. Make 2 left and right and the other 2 left and right
Load your amp in all 4,
On the first 2, make your settings high mids, High Treble, High Prescence. Lower everything else like bass and depth.
On the second pair of tracks, do the opposite
Crank the bass, knob and the depth knob, and lower the rest
You can even go as far as make Your EQs opposites keep the lows on the low tones and the mids to 8k on the high tones.
You can do this with bass guitar, too, but make the lows clean.
    Your welcome

  • I wanted to thank you for your coverage on this amp sim. I had only heard of it by chance when I was looking for a tone unlike the popular Neural DSP plugins (which had too much mid and lack of clarity for my liking). Your video convinced me to trial it (and buy it, as I did just now). I saw they had a 50% code on their site, but I made sure to use your code instead. I hope it helps out the channel a bit. Thanks again!

  • Literally the only heavy amp sim I’ve used or even wanted ever since I got it, and that’s after trying basically every Neural DSP and a ton of other options. It’s just ridiculous. Amazing for black metal too, so much sizzle and snarl. Then if you get Otto’s Blown Out Wall to push it you’re basically in high gain nirvana

  • As usual, the sound that you get out of your bass VI is amazing !
I tried the plugin quickly. I did not see a noise gate or a tuner. I hope that I missed them and they are here.
I also have the 24-100 Fender set on my Bass VI so I tried to lower my E1 to A0. It will need some tweaking to get where you are. But in B0 or C1, it sounds nice even with that big .100 string.

  • Thank you explaining this amp! I adore the Squier VI and it's the perfect amp sim for it.

  • This is HANDS DOWN the best amp sim ever. I use it for recording, as well as just sitting at my recording desk and having a blast playing. HIGHLY recommend!

  • What the… I've never heard double drop A so clear and defined. I usually play double drop D, C and A. Been using the Nalex stuff and the free version of TSE X50 with some free IRs. Not usually one to buy stuff but this thing sounds too damn good to pass up on

  • I'd love to see a demo with something closer to drop A or B standard. I'm gonna give it a whirl tonight but I'm no specialist when it comes to tone.

  • This plugin is so versatile and unique I love it. I use it on things from djent to grindcore to death metal to black metal and it sounds perfect every time.

  • I tried this amp like a year ago I think I discovered on Adrew Baena's channel and i wasnt a fan but it sounds sick in your mix maybe I'll give it another shot lol

  • Man, first time hearing the II II II II in super lowww tuning. Kinda intimidating lol. I love it.
I generally play a 7 in drop-A and this beast doesn't disappoint. Takes external boosts super well too. As others have mentioned the DrDrive is fantastic. Was also able to get a very convincing Marshall DSL style tone with more common tunings and a SD-1 pushing it.

    Great walkthrough. 😀

  • All I ever hear from the II II is, that it is way too saturated. Downloaded the trial and couldn’t get any clear and defined sounds out of this. Just like all of the demo videos I watched. It just doesn’t sound good to me at all.

  • Love this amp , also works with more "normal" Tunings but it can be a lil fizzy, nothing that can't be fixed with a lil bit eq, and it sounds like no other amp sim in my opinion, a lot of low end and bite

  • Amazing clarity for A0.
The II II II II is also the best sim I've tried for ultra low bass tones…

  • Awesome video! That Bass VI sounds BROOTAL in Double Drop A with the II II II II. Crazy how well those things handle SUPER low tunings.
