I am learning the full song for ‘Balckbird’ by Alter Bridge as we speak so I thought I would do a quick guitar lesson with tabs of the picking introduction before I forget how to play it! I am recording a full cover this weekend which will be uploaded this sunday so look out for that! 
This is a great piece of music that sounds great fast or slowed down. The picking is a bit tricky at first but pay close attention to my right hand and stick to a certain fingering. There is no correct way to do this but just try to make it as comfortable as possible.
I have slowed it down to half the tempo of around 76bpm
