Id say boost in the beginning right after compressor. Some drives respond cool when you hit them with a boost in front
I'd put the boost between the compressor and the acoustic pedal to avoid boosting unwanted hiss and noise from the other pedals.
Use the boost pedal to bring up volume for solos. Use the level knobs on each pedal to keep the volume from changing when the pedal is activated.
Swap the boost and the compressor positions is one option and the other option is move the compressor to just before the boost if the boost is the last one but the compressor really should be the last one before the amp because it averages out everything that comes to it
You're going to need a bigger pedal board! Thanks for sharing your journey, Ted! Cheers
I believe a clean boost pedal may work better for your needs at your gigs (as you've emphasized you play mainly clean). Mind you, this one doesn't go all grungy at 9 o'clock. At 12 it's pretty dirty and by 3 you don't want to be in its vicinity! Nice buy for $12, Ted!
Forrest Gump and Jenny were like peas and carrots ….. So are delay and reverb. I like them together.
