Clearly a motivational thing to learn it. Love for the music and playing those songs. Living the song
I think a major part of groove is confidence, then knowing what you're going to do a few steps ahead
What model is that bass?
Took me 2 and a half years for me to find my groove in my bass playing. In fact I found it while playing one of my first gigs, which really made bass playing so much more enjoyable for me.
No, never hear anybody has groove in jazz like Jaco, honestly no one, unless one that influenced by him, but it is possible to have one day a player that able to be so groovy without sounds like him, but for now, I still not see anybody, sometime , things that looks simple is the most complex and difficult one to achieve

Did u know that every 60 second a minute passes? ????
Taught? No.
Learnt? Yes.
You know
Rocco Prestia number one. I love his groove in "TOWER OF POWER" sound.
the whole point of the video for me is that it’s the hours of time, exposure, practice etc that creates much of that internal sense. The may be some equivalent of perfect pitch in terms of rhythm, I don’t know. But just like people can learn relative pitch and to play music they can do the same with effort. The bad thing is when teachers make assumptions about who should nautically have groove and who shouldn’t, which I’ve encountered. This video emphasizes learning, great!
His Bass Face morphs hi into Method Man!
Great Groove
I would reverse the question… Can groove be learnt?
