I'm not really a country guy, but I could listen to Brent Mason and Andy Wood all day. Got my Hot Wired today. Awesome.
Thanks
I think it’s all fair ????
Dude your Wampler and he uses your stuff.
Growling bite super tele sound from Brent… ❤
I think it takes a lot of guts to try to play a Brent Mason solo and compare it with his track…there's no fkn possible way you won't look like a hack job in comparison…lol
I think you got it's pretty close…way better than I could…lol
Brian…loved the video….I have seen Brent play this and he is picking the intro close to the bridge to get that "tight tele" sound. I did it and thats pretty much the sound he got doing that technique.
Tele, New Strings, loud Fender, Tube Screamer.
Next.
What software are you using to isolate the tracks?
How do you get separate tracks with a audio/mp3
Awesome. What recording program are you using.
Is it absolutely necessary to have a telecaster for this?
AWESOME video, Mr. Wampler! You did great! And as always, the tones are amazing!
Way cool break down. To me, the "fiddle stomp" sounds like the fiddle player was "wacking" or slapping the strings with the bow. I'm kind of a guitar player and kind of a fiddle player.
I’m new to this party. How does one acquire the pre-master tracks for for a major commercial song?
Watching Brent’s IG videos he does a lot of punching in and multiple takes.
I like the guitar lead in tone to George Jones's "I dont Need Your Rockin Chair"
But I do have a Serious question, what effects are they using to get that Double Guitar sound on most of those Chicken Picken Leads? I've tried Course, Flanger, Delay and Compressor but Switched The Course to Flanger but keeping the delay and compressor going, delay on fast slap back but Still Can't get that Twin Guitar effect! What going on?
Can I ask you a question? Why the hell did Brent even have the delay on? I mean it's like he's got it set so slow it's like, Bop,……. bop,….. Bop,…… bop,. And there is shredding it and you don't even hear the delay until he hits that last note LOL and it's like oh yeah! he had a delay on didn't he? LOL couldn't hear it until that last note LOL just Checking ????
Nice job hitting those notes. Now hittem harder
I know this is 3 years old but what software is that
awesome video… always loved this tune…. can you share what software you are using to manipulate the tune?? I would love to get something like that… thanks..
You sound awesome. How are you getting those tracks separated like that.
Brent is awesome, your video is great, and Wampler pedals are the BEST. How do I get close to that sound? '52 reissue Tele, w/ Seymore Duncan "Broadcaster" pickup, Wampler Ego Compressor, '65 reissue twin, spring reverb…
Hey Brian, My rig for this tone consists of the following:
Fender Deluxe Nashville Telecaster with alder body and maple fretboard.
Wilkinson ashtray bridge with 3 compensated brass saddles.
Seymour Duncan Jerry Donahue bridge pickup
Seymour Duncan Alnico 2 Pro Tele neck pickup
Fender 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb "Red Ltd. Edition amp
Boss ME-50 – Light effects. Compressor on.
Visual Sound Route 66 V2 with Comp on and set with Comp 12:00, Tone 12:00, Gain 2:00
What settings was he using for his finger tips? ????This is so cool and Brent is straight fire!!
This was fun! And proof that I'm miles away from Brent's tone and technique.
How do you get that actual song with separate tracks for logic? That would be killer for me to practice guitar by isolating things in logic or GarageBand
what program is this to isolate each part
Tone's in the right hand. Quit wasting so much $
How were you able to get Alan Jackson multitracks? Or, at least this one…
Brian….good stuff…what “analyzer” do you use to break these down?
From May 1990, my first AJ CD, I was like “who the heck is that on guitar.” It’s a “signature Alan Jackson sound”…..no doubt.
Brent Mason helped create it. And the drums…Eddie Bauer..I’m play percussion.
First time here, got to say, that Grey Guitar was the one you should have used, so cool. But good playing man. And if anyone else here slows down songs on Utube to work them out , you know just what a Great Brent is when you hear all those out of tune bends by other respected players.
Love hearing isolated tracks like you've posted. Thank you!

The Mexican tele sounds closer.
my guitar is a 2017 fender nashville deluxe telecaster with a boost pedal and compressor.
Damn bro. That was good. Nothing to be embarrassed about
