Let me know which Les Paul you guys thought sounded the best!
Enjoy 🙂
I'm a massive Japanese guitar enthusiast I've sold over 500 I've played many many that most would not even know are Japanese. To me the Japanese are the best I've owned them all Chinese..yuck though they do make pretty nice ones and the Chinese epi in this sounds great, Japanese sounds most impressive followed by USA and k found this through the cash range of Japanese and USA fenders I sold too. Japanese just get it right everytime!
USA rules
No shocker, Jap>All. Sell your junk buy an ESP.
Yea, but what do you have on the back end? ANY guitar can be made to sound good with enough gear thrown at it. But over all with the setup your running, id say the Japanese one sounded best. What is this Gibson smell? Ive only had a couple, studio with worn finish and a trad pro that was satin. Neither of them had any certain smell to them.
I vote USA
China may have come a long way, but the Chinese Epiphone's from 25 years ago were abominations.
Gibson is the clear winner but the price disqualifies it. So close to the other two that its not worth the cost.
Japan all the way. The dudes are proud people. They would never put out an instrument that is not perfect, unlike some other company that also makes guitars XD
Also, those Epi Elitists were something else man.
Don’t they all have different pickups? So they’ll naturally sound different
that epiphone 1959 sounded the best lol
China= Epiphone, chibson
Japan= Tokai, Greco, Hondo, Aria, Burny
US = Gibson
American,china gitars very goood????????????????
In the early 80's I bought an Elitist/Elite Les Paul and 335 after comparing directly with their Givson counterparts. The QC, at that time, on the Gibsons was abysmal. Elite was a better guitar with the exception of the pickups and electronics. I put Suher pickups in one, Wofetone in the other, upgraded electronics and have never looked back. I also have a Custom Shop CS-336 Gibson that I had to go through three of to find and acceptable one. A twisted neck on one, orange peel on the other, the third was glorious. Still have all three and feel no need to consider replacing the Elitists.
they were so close i'd take any one of them and be happy. but, i'll never pay what gibson are asking for their guitars, the difference doesn't justify their price tag.
Personally, the name on the headstock doesn't matter as much as the quality, feel, and tone of the guitar. That being said I'd be hard pressed to pass on a Gibson, all things being equal. If I had to buy one I'd probably save a few $100 bucks more to get the Japanese Epiphone, if buying new. I just couldn't justify the Gibson if there's not much of a deference.
MIJ guitars are pretty stellar, craftsmanship and playability are top tier.
They know what they are doing.
Yamaha les paul sl 380 ????
Похоже Epiphone China более лес пол чем тот что из Japan и Gibson USA, у Gibson совсем не те хамбакеры нет того звучания/баритона/жира
А говорят мол Китайские гитары днище, но реальность показывает другое ;))
I love the sound of the Japanese Epiphone.
Japan good quality
Japan very good
japan one
If the Epiphone louds better they would not sell any Gibson guitars .
