Why don't you talk less, and play some sound samples instead? No one wants to hear you babble on about shit no one cares about.
You never put a distortion pedal or overdrive pedal in the effects loop. That's why it didn't sound right.
Effects loops are for spund shaping pedals, not boosting pedals. The effects loop is between the preamp and the power amp.
Those ALWAYS go in front of the amp, prior the preamp.

For amps with an effects loop, are the effects applied after the pre-amp stage when ran through the effects loop?

i got this when it came out and i dont use it so i used a amp plug in and combined it with a aux in and now use it as a speaker for listening to dubstep i have the low turned up all the way and volume at 20% and if u put stuff on top of it it will fall off #bass

100,00 out the door, cleaned her up, the amp looks brand new now, and plays ausome

Best amp i ever owned, I wish i never traded it for the AVT 150h which was still pretty good but I had way more fun with my glx

These Crate amp's are good shit. We have the GLX 65.
For the external speaker jack can you hook up a 4×12 cab and play? Just curious before I buy a cab. I have the gtd model
You'd be dumb not to save your money and buy a real amp. What's convenient isn't always what is best. Crate sucks!

I have this amp. I bought it awhile ago and two years in it shat on me. I kinda fixed it but then it shat on me once again. Awesome amp but it's shit at the same time.

great video i need to figure out how to set up the footswitch … I'll watch your other video. I bought the FW120/212 …only had it 10 hours but super happy with the price and sound … I'm a newbie guitarist as well and it's great for me just starting to play a few bars for free.
distortion pedals are not supposed to be used on fx loop. You're only supposed to put there time-based fx, because it goes between the preamp and poweramp section.
i got this amp for 150 bucks…great for starters for gigging but not the best tone

he bought in the U.S. and sold it to me here in Mexico but did not bring the manual or the cable to connect,,
I see your video cables that are connected to the amplifier
My question is that these cables are special because I've connected a normal guitar and does not work.

I PLAYED ON THIS AT GUITAR CENTER ITS DESCENT FOR WHAT IT IS NOT MY FAVORTIE AMP BUT IF I HAD THE CASH I WOULD BUY ONE
@ElCigaroCubano loud enough to hear over drums and more… if you go any louder… i think that's when the signal starts to kinda distort. I have no problem playing it over a drum set… if not drowning the drum set, like an infant in the pacific. (sorry for that image)

I got a amazing gtx 65 crate amp today for Christmas and I turned it on and it doesn't work so we are going to see if we can get it fixed I'm so pissed of right now
