my Boss metalzone crushed the g3 I just bough big time so it will be for sale. even tweeking both pedals for a good while with my cousin playing amazing riffs with my other cousin there listening. I got a perfect just perfect beefy smooth and tight distortion that just gives you eargasm they both felt the same way. the metalzone is just the best and soooo versatile too. to bad but the revv is crap and when I have time it's getting sold. just trying to help. I had the metalzone way back when but got into tube amps and mods but now I want both so the metalzone is back. glad they didnt triple in price lol they certainly could have because they are the best because the 6 buttons it has drastictly changes the type of dist you get and that just amazing. smooth round gritty perfect distortion at least 5 types too boot. Why waste 4 times the money what used metalzone are cheap and 10 times better.
I wish you guys would test these using a small single piece all in one amp like most of us have. I want to know how close the pedal can get to a pro setup. Not how its sounds through a pro setup.
Do you recommend this for slow rock to hard rock tone over the G4?

I bought this pedal from seeing everyones reviews. It sounds like absolute garbage on my Orange Super Crush 100. There are no settings that can make this thing sound good.

I ve bought this pedal using with my les paul type godin icon typ 2 in a vht special 6 ultra directly into the amp but cant get nearly as fat sound like in the vid.
Could it be that the amp is not abel to reproduce proper metal sound?

I'm trying to get a descent tone with Revv g3 using Boss Katana 50mk2.
I'm using les paul studio, 1 spot cs7 (new), boss ns (new), korg tuner (new). Dialed to clean channel but tones from the amp are muffled…any clue, please?
Will Revv g3 sound good with Boss katana 50? With only a noise suppressor.

Received my Revv G3 on 11/2/2020. Played with it through a Fender Super 60 head/4×12 cab with Celestions. Ran it through the front end. Not disappointed at all!!!!!!!!!!! This pedal SLAYS!!!!!!! I will try it through the FX loop next time to see if there is a big difference. When you add a compressor to it….HOLY CRAP Batman!!!! The lead single tones are super thick, throaty, juicy and screaming!!!! This pedal is just plain awesome!!! I will be getting the Revv G4 soon!!! Thanks Rabea for sharing this demo and putting some light on this pedal!!!

which one would you pick? OD200 or Revv G3?
I've been debating on which distortion pedal to buy. I have a Peavey 6505 mini head and 1-12 cab. I heard someone at the guitar store using an MXR 5150 pedal that sounded cool. After seeing this video, I think I'll buy the Revv G3.

This demo really surprised me… I've heard this demoed in various vids… this thing sounds very early Van Halen-y.. quite impressive
