I’m very impressed with the overall tone, brightness and balance of the D’Addario EJ32C Folk Ball End Classical Guitar Strings and especially pleased with the ease of fitting.
As a professional guitarist for over 45 years who has only played acoustic steel string guitars all my life, when I retired and decided to study classical guitar I struggled a little bit learning how to tie those classical nylon string knots on the bridge.
I have to say I did get the hang of it after a couple of string changes but it’s not that much fun to do and takes time so I was over the moon when I discovered that D’Addario did ball end classical guitar strings.
They are reasonably priced and the tone and balance across the trebles and basses is good.
The only down side that I can think of is that there isn’t a lot of choice when it comes to ball end classical strings so if you’re looking for something that’s a bit brighter or you prefer carbon strings then you will have to stick to the standard tie end strings.
Other than that I think they’re perfect for students or anyone who plays folk and the ball ends allow you to use them on acoustic guitars as well.
Have you tried them yet?

Great very informative video…You answered a intonation question I’ve been having trouble getting answered ..bravo..
Not a fan of these, got to admit. They sound bland and dull like they've been used already.
!!..????????!!..
Why isn't your guitar in the Camera-picture ?!..
Unfortunately, due to your camera angle being positioned incorrectly, we only watched your head and the back of your house, which was too BAD !!.. ????????????????

how do these compare to the Thomastik-Infeld folk strings? is their more tension on these strings compared to the Thomastik?
THAT! THAT is what I've been looking for!
I bought these and they sound very nice. Thank you for the review !!
Hi, there is a specific tune that you are always play in all your uploads, i meant to the one you playing in minute 07:00, can you add the chords, tabs of this tune
Anyone tried them on a Cordoba Mini M…?
I’m more interested in the guitar and weather it is an acoustic thin neck with nylon ball end strings
Can put the strings to acoustic guitar?
Amazing sound and thanks for the review! Thanks for sharing!
I have a Yamaha C40 and I need some new strings. The latest strings I had was D'Addario Normal Tension EXP45, but those are not available to purchase anymore…. So what do you recommend?
Thank you Alan. Do you know the difference between EJ32, 33 and 34? They seem to vary in terms of clear or black trebles and silver or brass wound basses but I don't know about their tensions …
They take a fraction of the time to install compared to Tie end strings.
For me the tying end on standard strings is the easy part. I always have trouble with the end that goes on the gear head knobs.
Nice-sounding guitar and/or strings. Wish we could see your playing. It would have been great if you lowered the camera. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe. God bless.
I recently gave these strings a try (2 months ago).
They are far superior to my usual EJ27N. Louder and brighter with a great ring.
They keep their "zing" a long time and sound great after that for weeks.
I may stay with these.
If your on the fence give them a try.
Learn how to tie! I’m checking your review for a parlor guitar
thank you I just ordered this strings package, thanks to your recommendation!
The folk strings make for better chords than classical strings.
my next set will be theses strings the EJ32C.
