  • Hi Bjorn,

Would you please help me make up my mind, I’m torn between this pedal and tru fi two face. I love Gilmour fuzz face tone especially in Obscured by clouds. I’m also into Doyle Bramhall Jr fuzz face tones. Considering that, and given that I already have a germanium Londo fuzz ( bought after your suggestion) and a JDM 292 si lion fuzz, that I like but I just think in this never ending search for the ultimate fuzz face, I want to upgrade my board by adding on of those.

My current pedal chain order is : Gt – Xotic Sp Compressor – Jhs Unicorn Univibe – Mxr Script 90 Phaser – Jdm Fuzz si – Crazytubes Hipower – Catalinbread Belle Epoch – J.Rockett .45 – Caline Pure Sky overdrive – Catalinbread Echorec – Exh Stereo Pulsar – Boss Rt 20 – Boss Re20 – Marshall Jcm 2550

  • Hello Bjorn! Maybe you can help me to solve the main question: where I should put this fuzz to properly stack with crazy tube hi-power?

  • Bjorn have you seen the setlist for Gilmour’s tour? Some gems. Marooned, A Great Day For Freedom, Sorrow again.

  • I really liked the jam on Obscured by Clouds! Such an underrated album. If you can get your hands on one of the Chase Tone Fuzz Fellas, those are also excellent fuzz face style pedals with a bit of extra tweakability!

  • Hey Bjorn, great video. I really love your demos.
I have a little request. Can you please do a video on Compressor pedals? I have read your buyer's guide article on Gilmourish a couple of times, and I just don’t get it. I would especially love a shootout between an older-style compressor pedal (like the MXR Script DynaComp) and a newer-style compressor pedal (like the Boss Compressor Sustainer). Is there really that big of a difference in sound?

  • I love Fuzz Face circuit fuzz’s… I own Germanium and Silicone Fuzz face pedals. I do not own a BC107 silicone Fuzz Face so I was very interested in hearing it. It I did not disappoint. Thanks for the video! ????

  • Wow; the Humbucker / Single Coil comparisons differ significantly–I favor the latter. Curious to know more of your thoughts on each. Thanks Bjorn and chapeau for the title of your upcoming release–truest five words ever spoken. Best of luck and thanks again so much.

  • Analogman SunFace BC183 for me. I do find it seems to work better with amps with beefier OTs and power amp sections. Bit of a mess with smaller amps but through my old Twin it’s absolutely phenomenal.

  • Fantastic video. Thank you Bjorn! This is a very intriguing pedal. I’ve got 9 drive pedals and now you got me considering a 10th lol. Cheers!

  • Great review, however these are ridiculously overpriced. It’s a really easy pedal to build.
