This bass not only looks snazzy, but it has the tone and feel to match. It has a very classic vibe with a true BASS tone. The active electronics give a boost to your twang and really express your bottom rounds. The butter-smooth unfinished maple neck allows you to flow over the fretboard like a skater on ice. The action was superb out of the box.

CEO of Dean. I love the design of this bass, but I wish you made a 5 string neck thru out of mahogany with no pickguard(maybe with a cherry top or just mahogany……dying it green would be even more awesome), I have enough maple top guitars already ). I had a 5 string washburn taurus, liked the sound, but the 35 inch scale was weird to me. I think this would compete with the schecter stiletto really well.
what's the control layout? is it like vol, high, low, blend or what?
