Hey CJ Jones, I agree with you. You say you play bass and you enforce that you play on the low register like a bassist would play. My question for you is why you use a 6 string bass if you only play bass man? See what I mean? If you say you play bass and stay on the low register why do you need the extra high strings? I just can't cope with that feeling of yours.
