Honestly the best guitar on Amazon I've bought was firefly. The 335 model is amazing. Everything was perfect on it after I dressed the fret ends. I don't think they even sell on Amazon anymore though unfortunately and if they do it is rarely.

The Fesley is impressive for the price they sell these for on Amazon. But, that Creamsicle Epiphone back there looks awesome! I’ve never said I want an Epiphone before. But, I want that one.

I purchased the matte black version in Nov 2023 & it plays good. Eventually there was sharp fretts after winter. I fixed it. Mine seems like it needs lighter gauge strings in my opinion but Playa great. I really like the neck/ the finish! I prefer a slim neck. On my Kustom amp my Fesley FLP-350 does much better with a bass focused amp using the neck pickup. All in all, they're okay!!!
WHY DIDN'T YOU TAKE THE PICKUPS OUT TO SEE WHAT THEY REALLY ARE !!!!! BECAUSE THEY GAVE YOU THE GUITAR AND SING THEIR SONG FOR THEM….
The only thing I see that I don't like is the name at the 12th fret. Its a little goofy to me but I can over look goofy for good sound and playability

Fesley, Donner, Westcreek, Grote are killing the sales for the big guys
Unfortunately the prices on these have skyrocketed in the past year to a point where you may as well just buy a "big brand" guitar from a local guitar shop for half the price.
Was really interested in what the quality was going to be on these though.

Just not liking the nasal, thin, cheap guitar tone on any setting. Hard pass as you're wrong, the thinness in the tone never goes away, with gain up, it sounds like it's shrieking, piercing, no bass or low mids. Sounds like a bad SS amp.

Lately I been checking these guitars out myself.
guitars are a lot of things —- on top of being instruments they fashion statements and artistic sculptures and they are also stores of value. There is a difference between a cheap guitar and a crap guitars. Stay away from crap guitars and turds to polish. Here's a tip — these are big companies reselling returns and b-stock —- order 'good uses' or 'used like new' off amazon —- then if they chodle the order make your case for further discount and you keep it. Say: 1. I'm saving everybody money by not having it shipped back and risking the next guy returning it. 2. Say: hey, they made the mistake, not me, I don't want to bother with return bs. 3. Say: somebody is going to have to monkey with this thing so HONESTLY, the market value is ONLY (x)– so a credit of (x) is fair…. I ened up with a perfect bullet strat SSS for $110 because it was supposed to be HSS —– now I have budget for electronic upgrades and the old parts have some value. I got a Jackson js11 for $60 plus tx. down from $135, down from $160 —- the pups were not even wired in to the switch —- they told me it was missing the switch tip —- i told AMZ girl that it was only fair to resolve it quickly because how could they dare sell me a USED guitar without even TESTING IT ? and the guitar is only worth about $70
and dropped me a $75 plus tx credit —FYI —jump up to the affinity strat for better everything —honetly the debut thing looks like a great deal —– it's got a trem — prettier headstock like affinity and obviously the price —i really don't see the point of having expensive guitars—– instead of some 1000 dollar guitar I'll take 3@$250 and keep the change —-
It is true that budget guitars are a lot better these days. I had to suffer some real crap back in the eighties.

Microphonic pups are easy to fix, get yourself an old slow cooker, turn it on and start putting pieces of parifin wax in it/ tie a wire to a mounting hole, melt the wax get a candy thermometer, set your semprature to 150 degrees F. . I rig up a wire coat hanger over the pot, use your imagination. Test the ohms before potting and after, I will change the sound, for the better. The pickups being microphonic are a result of the winding being random and;pose. It all doesn’t need to be loose, say 50 feet of wire can become microphonic. How to test for it. Turn your amp up ans]d talk into a live pickup, ig]f you hear your voice coming out of the amp, the pickups are microphonic. … now after your wax comes to temp plan on letting the pickup hang inside the wax an hour maybe 2 at the max. Don’t leave the pickup cover on the pickups. No one ever told me this but after removing the
ickiestfrom the pot, I let it cool 10 to 15 minutes. There is a lot of copper mass there so it cools slowly, get the temp under 100, then dip it again, now the wax has soaked all the way inside plus you’ve replaces some of the runoff. Depending on the pickup I might dip the pickup 2 more times, I do wear some rubber gloves, the wax is hot enough to scauld. Each time I remove the pickup I wipe it down good with a clean cloth or paper towel. … put your ohm meter on the pickup, remember it’s much hotter that alone changes the resistance, but you now know you’ve done no damage, your ultra thin wire is safe, when the pickups cool enough give em a final wipe down. I like to put them in the fridge,, Incase there was a pool of wax inside still liquid, I want that all hard. It’s very easy, I’ve wax potted a ton of pickups with no damage, d all happy customers.I could listen to this dude jam all day! ????????

THE best guitar on a budget, right now is the Guild Surfliner, no competition, imo. They dropped form $499 to $269, limited numbers left on Reverb(from Guild, all new). That being said, I wouldn't be embarrassed to play this, but I don't like the pickups much, maybe irl they're better tho. I do like the neck looks, but don't like the Les Paul copy design at all.
No dude, Schecter, ESP/LTD, and Fender are the best on Amazon.
