Hey guys! It's been a while! Hope you're doing well ????
Eirik I have never seen a ap steel like you are using–what is it may I ask? Great job
I have a lap steel. I think this will have me breaking it out and using it with my pedalboard. My cheap one gives me problems when it's tuned to anything but C6 though. Any tips for that, brother?
That sounded beautiful man! I need one ????
thumbs up!
I keep wanting to learn slide guitar, but maybe I just need a lap steel.
Inspiring stuff, Eirik!! Great to see you back
"Looks like something completely different, honestly." lmao dude
And maybe the greatest of all, David Lindley! https://youtu.be/_VnAxKJZusc?si=C-SZum7oPRe75fUB
Nice! "I Guess I Just Wasn't Made for These Times" is a beautiful song, from an endlessly inspiring record!
Great way to get the minor and major in the same tuning. Smart! Thanks
Megan Lovell from Larkin Poe is also a great player that people might like!
Oh heck yes, this is the money maker secret. Want to make money for your own bands/projects? Learn to play lap/pedal steel and sing harmonies. It padded my wallet through the 00s and I met a lot of friends along the way.
Oh and its great to have you back!
Ha det bäst/Peace
Nice to hear from you! I saw the channel name change and I thought "…… HE'S BACK"
The early QOTSA live shows had wonderful trippy steel guitar.
As soon as you changed it to minor you sounded just like Daniel Lanois. Great video.
What’s the red lap steel?
Mate have you seen the new Peavey Decade?????
while that fine looking gentleman does look like me, i can assure you that it is not me.
Every single time I watch one of your videos I wonder to myself how the fuck you don’t have 1 Million subs. Your production value and vide is incredible! I’m going to do my part and like and share your videos, I hope we can all get your to where you should be! Thanks man! Cheers to all the time you’ve spent showing us all how to get our favorite guitar sounds!
How about a little distortion?
i'm sold.
Nice to see some limelight on the lap steel! I’ve been loving getting back playing my C6 8 string recently!
WTH, it's not Living Room Gear Demos anymore? That was a great channel name. ????
I love how you can use the lapsteel for these ambient volume swells and get a whole vibe from it. It’s kinda haunting.
Welcome back????
Crap, now i need one !
Glad to see you back! Cool to see something more related to making music and not just like a gear demo necessarily. Your awesome, we missed you!
You've opened my eyes mate thanks so much
"You really get that Hawaiian, Spongebob kind of vibe" hahaha loved that!
