I got my DST-400 for $125 NIB. Killer deal and a great guitar. I replaced the humbucker for a Seymour Duncan distortion model and I added vintage style locking tuners.
Is there a thin trem block on the 152?

152 = Brighter
400 = Darker
I got the 400 and changed the tuners, graphtech nut and saddles added too. Love the neck. Put a volume bleed circuit and a sprague orange cap. The tremolo does suck though. Don't ever use it anyhow!

I'd like to try them both, unfortunately neither are made for left handed players.
If you don't compare one riff on one guitar immediately with the same riff on the other you are simply wasting your time
I think 152 is more crunch sound than 400, while 400 is more thicker than 152, but both sound best

Humbucker on the 400 sounds better. The single coils on the 152 sound better.
How predictable. I guess the purpose of YouTube comparison videos is to show that there is no difference so that you can buy either of them.
But it sure would be nice to know something about these guitars.

Never heard of Al Der wood, or Polar wood. But hey, at least y'all got maple correct. Hahahaha.
Unique pronunciation of alder. The usual pronunciation has the "a" given an "ahh" sound. So … Ah-lder. Donner even got a good review in GP.
Nice playing.. I do prefer the covered humbucker of the 152. Sound/tone. Well – they are both good.
I also heard an annoying amount of fret buzz… I had fret buzz with my Donner DLP-124, easy fix though.
The DST400 cannot be found anywhere. I contacted Donner and they couldn't even tell me when they would have the green version again.
This is a BS answer from a manufacturer to a customer.
I want the 400 neck and bridge on the 152.
