Dream Theater Announces North American Dates for 40th Anniversary Tour – No Treble
In April, Dream Theater announced they would embark on a worldwide 40th anniversary tour with the classic lineup including James LaBrie, John Petrucci, Jordan Rudess, John Myung, and drummer Mike Portnoy. With those dates beginning in Europe in late October, the prog rock titans have revealed the North American leg of the run.
The 30-city tour will kick off on February 7th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and will crisscross the U.S. and Canada through March 22nd, when it will wrap up at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
“The excitement we have felt from the fans since the first tour was announced has been overwhelming! Now we get to bring the show to our home country and play a bunch of cities that we haven’t been together in for more than a decade,” the band states. “We can’t wait to continue this historic celebration of 40 years together with everyone in North America next year. We still have plenty of more exciting Dream Theater news to share in the coming weeks.”
The band has been in their headquarters working on their 16th studio album, which will be the first to feature Portnoy since 2009’s Black Clouds & Silver Linings.
See below for the full North American dates, plus the previously announced European and South American concerts.
