  • Swapped out the stock V type for a creamback M65 anc it made an already awesome amp even greater. The classic gain channel with crunch mode on sounds much more classic Marshall. With crunch mode on and the gain and both volumes dimed or gets surprisingly overdriven and goes well beyond just crunch. The creamback has a low mid emphasis which really pushed the amp in a new wave of British heavy metal tonal direction which is currently my favorite tone . Also does a great motley crue shout at the devil/ theatre of pain era tone think save our souls.

  • I chose the JVM 215, I just thought it was a far better amp when I tested them both out.

  • Anybody else feel like those pickups are really high output or maybe there's something wrong with my amp?

  • Cool to see how you set it up. I like this same eq with my bridge humbuckers but have to pull the bass down with the neck. Really like the tone with that mic placement/combination. Keep these videos coming!
