Waltz by Carl Czerny (1791-1857) – Duet Play-Along Duet Video for beginner guitar from my Free Classical Guitar Method Volume 1. This is originally for piano so the student is playing the right hand part (treble clef) and the teacher is playing the left hand part (bass clef). It is also the introduction to staccato articulation. Big thanks to Natasha for helping with the duets in the book. She teaches in Victoria, BC: https://goodmusicstudio.org/

????
I was practicing this piece today and couldn't seem to get the staccato right. After watching you play, I realized that you also use some kind of left-hand muting. I tried that out and it actually sounded better. But I'm curious if that's the right way of playing the staccato cause in the pdf it says to use right-hand muting.
Really grateful for all these lessons btw 🙂

hi. great channel. it would be great if you could do some intermediate duets, i have lots of duet sheet music but no one to play with so end up playing along with mp3s. some examples would be carulli op 34 no 2. op 34 no 6. sor l’encouragement or le premier pas vers moi, or fantaisie op 54.
I love how you both sway in rhythm with the music ❤️ PS I just started working through your Easy classical guitar, and find your indicated fingerings very helpful. Thx
