Dunlop Crybaby Multi Wah Pedal Review – Sweetwater Sound

In this video, I’m checking out the Dunlop 535Q Crybaby Multi Wah. The 6-position frequency range selector, adjustable “Q” and switchable, adjustable boost put plenty of twists on the classic Crybaby sound. Enjoy, and thanks for watching!

I don't know why all the complaints. I think it sounds like a wah.
I came for the wah, stayed and levitated for the Deluxe Reverb, Lord I love that 22 watts of California goodness!
He has the buttons backwards. Volume and Q knobs. Top one is volume. Bottom is Q
Can it make me sound like Jimi if I play "Voodoo Chile?""
I've been using one of these since it was first introduced – my original one required an 18-volt adapter, and the Q and boost adjustments were inside the pedal – but the one I have now is recent, which is great because of the improvements, especially going to 9 volts. What I love about this pedal is the ability to cop the tones of so many other wahs, and it's built like a tank. Great pedal.
I almost pulled the trigger on this, until I heard the boost. It seems to add some distortion, which I don't need, nor want. I'm already playing a very high gain setup.
True bypass FTW!
This is by far my favorite wah. For clean wah I set both black knobs pointing straight down, and the large silver knob third position down from the top. With my Tele, its very expressive, vowel like and even chewy. For me, it doesn't get better than that for a wah.
can it be used as a volume pedal as well, silencing everything, or volume swells ?
00:51 wrong! you mixed the Q with the volume knobs.
despite how the sound is here [ Jeremy G ] this is the best audible distinction description on line thus far even more detailed in functionality description than the boss official video
thanks, thinking of using it with my TB3… from roland
this is a great wah pedal, very versatile, built very well, can have a broad sublet tone, or a extra thick cutting wah tone. . .but this guy made it sound awful, if youre considering this pedal for your wah needs, just do it, don't let this review convince you of anything
It sounds so awful here. Trust me, this video does not do it justice. This pedal is amazing.
Brutal. probably the worst wah pedal demo for the 535q I've heard. Did not do that pedal justice at all.

kinda look like behringer hellbabe for me.
Sounds like a volume pedal with a stuffed nose.
Cool. – I'd like to hear you demo the Q control a lot more. – Like set the range selector high, and play at different Q settings, then set the range selector low, and play at different Q settings. Nobody on youtube has demoed the Q much, and almost all the other videos explain it completely wrong.. – Thanks. 🙂
