I play the acoustic since I was 9 and today I just plugged in my new electric. I'm not sure why but the same techniques that I already mastered on the acoustic sound like shit
I repeatedly hear this idea that acoustic guitar is basically elementary and has no real place generally, but I dont like that take even tho it may be true. Maybe I’m just misunderstanding or being stubborn

Nah, I love my tele, but if it came to choosing just one. It’d be one of my acoustics. Oddly, my favorite music leans toward hard rock or metal.
But i play just to relax and there’s nothing like the simplicity of an acoustic.
I started playing from scratch and bought an acoustic guitar as a complete novice… wouldn't recommend.
