???? This format is great. I could do 1-3 hours of this regularly. Just players playing and talking and hanging out with some natural ratio of jam : discussion that might vary each episode. Long form is extremely underrated, and underutilized, even though everybody knows what it means. Even edited is fine, as long as there is the time to let things develop.
I really liked these guys not simply referring to musicians, licks, ideas, like a label that everyone in the audience is supposed to act like they know and it gets diluted as in each generation of ????
They mentioned something and then played with it and talked about it and there was no leaning on labeling.
Anyway, great episode and I hope you do MORE like this! Thanks ????????
47:15 All microphones on deck! Yes, I like adding those, with some noise gates too, so they open up when it's louder. I guess it's nothing new. ???? Just made me think of my take on modern civil rights movement: "I want my new nothing now or never!" (All disbursements will be found in empty bank envelopes in the weed patch or the edge of a shopping aisle floor, dusty…) ????
