  • I have this guitar in Snow White it's a nice guitar I don't play it much though it's only for show really

  • Don’t listen to tone much eh? Go listen to album then tweak your amp. Then make another video.

  • Great review! Worth noting to those looking to purchase this guitar in 2022 and beyond, they've discontinued the glossy black and have since started making ones with a SATIN finish.

Personally this killed any interest I had in the instrument, because satin finishes end up looking like straight garbage after a month or two of steady playing.

  • Having both the black and the white which one in person looks more awesome ? I’m torn between them but I can only afford one of them ????

  • I want to buy this for my son who plays a ton of metal solos. He tends to use a whammy bar for some of his solos but this guitar doesn't have one. Do you think that limits anything not having one? I just wanted to ask a guitarist. That's the only thing holding me back from ordering is the question of the whammy bar

  • Anyone got the black satin finish? Just got one, wondering does it get glossy over time from the arm resting on it etc.

  • I've been dying to ask someone who has this guitar if it would be good for a beginner or what would be. I honestly know nothing about guitars but really wanna learn! I love the look of this guitar and love Metallica just wondering if it's what I should get?

  • Why do people when they come out of these guitars always play the same riffs the same chugging crap over and over again ????

  • Matt, for metal orientated music, is having a whammy bar on the guitar necessary or not? Commentary please.

  • It is lightweight and balanced, and that makes it very comfortable. I have a '93 Gibson Explorer and it's quite heavy. Also have the Epiphone '84 Reissue Explorer, and that's lightweight like the Snakebyte. Both the Gibson and the Epiphone are thicker, and the Snakebyte is thin (better).

  • Just tried it out today, feels and plays amazingly fast, surprisingly lightweight for the size, but it costs £1200 in the UK

  • Okay so im 12. 13 in 2 months. I'm a decent guitarist and metallica is my #1. I love James (NO HOMO). I told my mom I wanted this. She said it's mine in a month!

  • Awesome review but I have a question is it any good for leads?if it sounds bad with lead tone then thats a major deal breaker thanks.

  • Man I see that Het had a huge influence on your playing, just like on myself. I picked up the guitar because of James Hetfield. Now I only need to get an explorer and ditch this chinese fender strat copy. Here in Europe where I live the av. salary is 400e so it's not so easy but the day will come!! I'm a sub with my other account. Cheers man! Metallica m/ !

  • It makes me sad when players have a head and cabinet set up but end up still sounding like they're using a $40 distortion pedal.
