I hate the feel and sound or new strings so while tuning is a pain in the arse, it's only once a year at most for me.

Remember back when we could spend $45 and throw a tremel-no onto any floyd rose to turn it back into a useable instrument? It’s really telling that the Tremel-No has been on back order for two decades. Do not buy floyd rose trems!!!!!!!

Ok guys, here’s Floyd for Dummies.
#1 Block the Bridge in a neutral position
#2 With the Nut unlocked, Start with your G, then D, then B, then A, then High E, then Low E.
#3 clamp the nut, unblock the bridge
#4 Micro-Tune in the same order as before

As someone who used to meticulously STRUGGLE to get my guitar in tune the way I liked it and have it stay in tune for half a second, being able to bend and use the whammy bar and the tuning staying perfect is more than worth it.
