Saw Extreme last year and witnessed Am I Ever Gonna Change in all its glory. Front row leaning on the stage. I have the video on my channel.
Great stuff. This may have been one of my bridges to Progressive metal /rock although I didnt know it at the time. Btw Nuno is one of the best Rock guitarists there is. Brandon if you have not yet yet, do Rise from Extreme"s latest. Will get views for sure.

Nice….thanks so much Brandon and John! I too, was only familiar with “More Than Words”, so what a surprise to hear these new gems! (I think I’ve heard “Stop The World” before?) I never got into Extreme back in the day….just sooo much other stuff out there, you can’t hear it all! It was a great to hear these now, as otherwise I’m sure I’d never have heard them! I do remember Gary back in his Van Halen days!

I, like you, latched on to Extreme because of 'More Than Words' – excellent tune, but thanks to MuchMusic (Canadian MTV), I got to know their other songs (Kid Ego, Get The Funk Out, Hole Hearted, and others), and realized there was much more than that ballad (it's a shame that it's all most people know!)
They have such an amazing catalogue – and you've experienced some of that! Nuno Bettencourt is an INCREDIBLE guitarist (and for further proof of that, check out the instrumental Midnight Express! Saw this live in 2015 and I was gobsmacked at how amazing he was/is!)
Am I Ever Going To Change is my #1 Extreme track! The guitar sound Nuno gets is otherworldly! (and again, sounds exactly like that live!!)
They have a new album out (as of May last year) called 'Six' – and it's excellent!
