I've heard nuno tell these stories before in other interviews & hes such a great story teller. Love his energy, wit & sense of humour. We all admire his playing but being so humble & down to earth. Hes the type of person you'd want as a friend.

3rd thing: I traveled to Frankfurt in 2006 to watch Nuno with Population 1. During his set he dropped his pick, I took one from my pocket and handed it to him. He played the rest of the gig with it and then sought me out to give me the pick back.
The next day I managed to bring the neck of my N4 guitar in to the expo. Nuno signed it (tried to steal it) and sat with me for a few hours with the rest of the band chatting. I think I tried to be as cool with him as Nuno tried to be with Paul McCartney – we wrote some songs together and I gave him the idea for the rise solo.
Two things:
1: Nuno doesn’t know how good he is
2: Nuno needs to write a book
