Fender ’65 Twin Reverb Neo 85W 2×12″ Tube Combo Amp Review
Get the Fender ’65 Twin Reverb Neo in Wine Red here: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/65TwinRevWR
Whether your guitar has humbucking or single-coil pickups, this iconic 85-watt, all-tube combo amp serves up definitive clean tone that’s perfect for rock, country, blues, jazz, fusion, and more. And it takes pedals splendidly. The Twin is devastatingly loud. Spanking clean to around “8” on its volume dial, it can go toe-to-toe with any drummer onstage, but it speaks with authority at any volume — beautifully chimey, glassy, and full-throated. Sonically, this amp is based on Fender’s classic 1965 Blackface circuitry, but its eye-catching limited-edition wine-red Tolex cladding gives it a refreshingly different look. Other unique upgrades include a pair of Celestion G12 Neo Creamback speakers and a lightweight solid pine cabinet, which reduces the amp’s overall weight to only 56 lbs.

Ah man… decisions… this one or the regular one… ?
Wig makes it sound better too and better when cranked
Doesn't really sound much like that great Twin to me. Celestions are great for when you got tired of that big lows and high end sparkle. Not for me though
This amp is only 56.4 lbs.
Thankyou! I play a Les Paul as well, and your tone and drive in this video, is very similar to mine. I currently am running thru a 100 watt 2×12 Kustom combo, but previous to that, I had a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. I have only heard Strats thru Twins with more bluesy tones, and this video has just assured me that a Twin will sound great playing Priest, Godsmack, and Black Label Society thru it. Thanks so much. Stay safe!!
@Sweetwater @DonCarr I’ve been wanting this specific amp but is it truly worth it vs just a regular 65 reissue
Had it for 7 months now. Love it! Keep it right next to my Marshall Bluesbreaker reissue. Two Classic Amps.
Ordered mine today! From Sweetwater of course!
Ordered mine yesterday
I’m on it!
Killer Amp and demo
Tell the fender rep we want them here in the UK.
Make the same appointments to a Vibrolux
Nice but no need to buy these "new" designs. I have the old, original stuff.
how many of these amps will be made?
Creambacks are killer speakers and the Neo are half the weight. Love it.
quilter. y'all need to save your backs. better sound too. and no maintenance.
8lbs lighter than standard twin – this one is only 283lbs. Man they are heavy! ???? but they do sound great
Tone Tolex!
Nicely done Don,nice tones and demonstration, Thanks Brother!I love it when Sweetwater has exclusive and special factory deals,Be Well!
Love this classic amp, and when Don Carr gets jazzy like at 1:30. But where is his red Strat?
ya know what would really make it exclusive? call the 2nd channel what it actually is – tremolo!
nah jk guitarists would flip if they changed it now
Nice
Twin reverbs have always been one of my all time favorite amps. Lush tone is the best way I can put it for lack of better. Definitely keeping an eye on these!
Show ????????????????????????????????????????
That sounds real good! Nice playing, too.
